Best for PC - Should I buy 22" monitor or 22" tv and use as a monitor?

Should I buy 22" monitor or 22" tv and use as a monitor? I have a new ariel fitting in office and wonder if I should buy a monitor only or a TV. I have seen TV for 150 pounds and monitors seem more expensive.
