Leaving aside the ideology, i just don't see it as economically viable (Ulster independence). The recent upturns in N.Ireland's economy were due to money pumped in from the UK and USA - both of whom are experiencing credit crises / imminent recession. So there won't be the money to prop up an independent Stormont with handouts. Maybe Unionists should just accept they are physically in Ireland, and have been for hundreds of years, and should come to some sort of accomodation with Eire.
