Is 2012 Really the end of time?

people say it is but i think is loads of lies. i mean what a coincidence the aztec calander ends in 2012 but that was long ago, in their opinion it seemed a long way for them, however we can do the same. for example i can make a calander and make it end in 3012 as its a long way from my life span and people could say thats the end of time because someone long ago(ME) made it and it ends right in thier life span.
