How do you feel about the Education Fairness Act?

The Act MANDATES that California Public Schools teach the accomplishments lgbt people alongside alongside the accomplishments of people such as Dr. King. This will be taught to children as young as the 3rd grade. I find it absolutely ridiculous. In fact I can't believe I'm actually siding with Republicans on an issue. You can't force this down the throats of teachers, parents, and most importantly the students. It absolutely blew my mind when I saw it.
