How would I cite a historian who lived thousands of years ago in MLA format?

I want to cite Procopius and his book called Secret History. It was written in 558 A.D. I'm a little unsure how to cite it because I doubt it has a copyright on it and all. Also, I don't even know his full name. So, how would I cite this in MLA?
