Did Richard Pryor remain Catholic?

I know he was abused by a priest long ago, but did this experience turn him off to Catholicism, or was he still Catholic as he became famous? I'm just wondering. P.S. I'm Catholic, and know that 99.999999% of priests never have done this, so just know I'm not being offensive, please. I love my faith. Excommunication, I say!!! Anyway, let me know about Richard Pryor. Thanks.
