HOA lawsuit question?

This may seem like a bitter or stupid question to most but basically I wrote an email to my HOA and complained how security recently is out if control. They're abusing their power and being rude to the residents. Upon receiving a reply from a high ranking member VIA email about the issue saying we will take this serious and look into it asap. Upon fully examining the email I noticed it was firwarded frim another HOA employee and she forwarded the message to him "this one like fun" basically meaning this guy sounds like a whiny bitchy resident have fun with his complaint eric. That's what I got out of it anyways. Can I sue the HOA or her directly for that comment which pissed me off? Isn't it slander or deformation or w/e its called. If not does it break any laws at it all or is it rude and get over it and leave it at that?
