Isn't science philosophy's greatest legacy, seemingly becoming philosophy's greatest stimulus of new thoughts?
When it comes to most branches of philosophy, is there much left to say that hasn't already been said by the great philosophers? Doesn't what they've written (which is certainly stimulation for an exhilarating debate, and much of it remains very relevant) today make no further progress towards even greater enlightenment? Aren't discoveries in science, and progress in technology, now the main inspiration for new philosophies? Haven't relativity, quantum mechanics, evolution, computers, chaos theory, memetics, etc, spawned new and exciting philosophies, leaving little else to explore?
