Public school or private school?

I have to make a decision on whether i continue to go to the private school i'm at or transfer to the public school. i'm halfway through my sopre year. i went to public school all my life until highschool started. i've absolutely despised the private school i'm at, but my parents really want me there. i have like zero friends there and i don't fit in and i hate the atmosphere and all of that. but if i switch to the public school i'll have to take a bit of summer school because the schedule change will mess up some of my cles. all my friends are at the public school and i actually fit in there and i like the people there. but if i go there, my parents (although they say they won't do this) will probably start treating me differently. they really want me at the private school, but i'm really unhappy there. i'm a really good student so i should be fine academically either way, although the college scheduling is better at the private school. i like the athletics a lot better at the public school. WHAT DO I DO?
