When do i start college applications?

Sadly, CollegeBoard, the people in charge of the SATs only send scores to 4 schools(at least the used to) that you specified. Additional schools came at a fee. And yes the school will only accept the score from them NOT you. Letters of recommendation whether or not they are required are helpful and I suggest you get as many as you can. Your guidance counselor should be helpful with sending out your transcript and other items needed by schools. You should start the application process and drafting an essay as soon as possible so you can be ready to go when the deadlines roll around but you shouldn't freak out and try to do it all right this second. You seem to have some time, but use it wisely and do not wait until the night before the deadline. I strongly suggest sitting down with your guidance counselor to get things cleared up. Good luck!
